When you are a teacher someone is always watching you.
The responsibilities that come with being a teacher are different than most other jobs. Like it or not, you are now a role model. And you are not just a role model at school, it's true 24/7.
Being a role model means that you can no longer go out and do whatever you want. If you are in a crowd, you never know what relative of one of your students may be there. If you do anything crazy or even borderline unacceptable, word will get out.
The mainstream use of camera and video capable phones also means that there is a good chance that anything you do may be recorded, as well. Hard to get out of that one.
So be careful what you get into. It doesn't take much to get teachers fired these days. Even if you are in a different city or even country, you should probably consider behaving yourselves, teachers.
